Initially, the hospital client requested only “doors suitable for hospital use,” which implied strict standards for medical-grade safety, high-frequency durability, and scenario-specific adaptability. To meet the complex requirement of 113 doors across multiple departments, we conducted on-site surveys, multiple rounds of design iteration, and precise customization to deliver a comprehensive medical door solution.
- Complex functional requirements: Each department had unique demands for airtightness, antibacterial surfaces, fire rating, and pedestrian flow efficiency.
- Tight schedule: The hospital required urgent production and delivery to meet a 2026 handover date.
- Client trust: The client conducted an on-site inspection of our manufacturing and technical capabilities before confirming the project.
Custom design for each scenario
- On-site survey and evaluation of traffic, cleanliness, and fire safety requirements in each hospital area.
- Design iterations to tailor doors: rapid-sensing sliding doors for emergency paths, airtight radiation-proof doors for operating theatres, and antibacterial silent swing doors for patient wards.
- All doors use medical-grade materials and comply with Malaysian fire and hospital regulations; key components certified to EN16005 safety standards.
