Automatic Revolving Door with Breakout
- Customizable Styles for Different Building Entrances
- A Clean Entrance Look for Commercial and Public Spaces
- Breakout Door Leaves for Faster Emergency Exit
Three- and four-wing revolving doors with breakout function are suitable for entrances that need the appearance and climate control of a revolving door but also require a wider opening during emergencies. During daily use, the rotating leaves guide people through the entrance while helping limit air exchange between indoor and outdoor spaces. If there is a power failure or the building needs emergency evacuation, the wings/leaves can be pushed open manually to create a wider exit route. For entrances with limited space or stricter evacuation needs, the foldable leaves provide a wider exit route without affecting daily revolving door use.

To ensure safe, smooth, and adaptable operation, the revolving doors include several key functions:
Safety sensors on the entrance and exit columns detect contact and reduce collision risks as people pass through
Infrared sensors beneath the canopy monitor areas near the moving door leaves to prevent pinching accidents
Anti-contact sensors at the bottom of the door leaves detect resistance or contact, stopping the door immediately to avoid hard impacts
Buttons on the columns allow users or staff to stop the door instantly with a single press
When the disabled access button is pressed, the door leaves rotate at a slower speed so elderly users, people with disabilities, and anyone who needs extra time can pass through more safely and comfortably
The structure helps block wind, dust, noise, and heat transfer, keeping indoor conditions more comfortable
The door can stop at a set position and be locked when required to control access or for security purposes
Door speed can be customized to match pedestrian flow, entrance requirements, or user preference
The foldable door leaves can combine glass with aluminum alloy, stainless steel cladding, or copper cladding, depending on the entrance style. Folding hardware is kept out of sight, so the revolving door still looks clean and complete when closed, without interrupting the building façade.
The foldable leaves can switch between normal revolving operation and an opened position when a wider passage is needed. Even a smaller revolving door can provide more clearance during emergencies, which is useful for narrow entrances, irregular layouts, or areas that may need temporary access expansion.
During busy periods, the foldable leaves open to widen the passage and handle sudden increases in pedestrian traffic. When traffic is lighter, the door switches back to revolving mode to allow smooth, organized access while keeping indoor air comfortable.
The folding structure reduces air resistance during movement, helping lower energy use by about 15% compared with standard revolving doors. Special hinges and sealing strips also keep operating noise as low as 45 dB, which makes the entrance quieter during daily use.
The dual anti-pinch sensors monitor the foldable door leaves as they rotate or fold. If anything blocks the door, it stops instantly to prevent pinching or hard impacts, keeping people safe.
